Live connection check

Is the guide ready to connect?

Check that the guide is online and can answer a real search and planning request.

Not checked yet.

This checks the guide server from this browser. It cannot verify your ChatGPT or Claude access, connection, or in-chat display. It does not sign you in or save anything.

Need a hand?

I don’t see a way to add a connection.

Try your AI’s web version and check the setup instructions above. Availability depends on your account and workspace settings. Ask your workspace owner if custom connections are disabled. You can always browse events and find people directly here.

How do I know my AI is using the guide?

Start a new chat with Afrotech.guide enabled. Ask it to use Afrotech.guide to find events and include source links. Check your AI’s tool activity for a guide search. A successful server check here alone does not confirm your account is connected.

Will I need to sign in?

You can search and plan without a guide account. If you want to save items or itineraries, your AI will ask you to connect your existing Afrotech.guide member account and approve the requested permissions. Your phone number is not returned to your AI through this connection.

The test failed or my AI can’t connect.

Check that the URL ends in /mcp, then run the test again. If the test passes, review your AI’s setup steps and make sure the connection is enabled for the chat. Text results can still work when your AI does not support interactive guide cards.
