Privacy/observability: MCP telemetry is limited to hourly sharded aggregate counters such as request/tool category, coarse client family, outcome, and latency bucket. MCP telemetry does not store raw IP addresses, prompts, tool arguments, result contents, names, emails, phone numbers, or full user-agent strings. Public tools are read-only. Authenticated write tools are limited to the connected member's own saved guide preferences/items/itineraries; they do not expose administration, moderation, hidden profiles, or privileged site actions. Abuse controls include request throttling, strict validation of modern MCP protocol/method/name headers, short-lived authorization codes, token rotation/revocation, dynamic-registration throttling, and client-metadata URL validation.
